Tara Reid first appeared in television commercials while she was just a tiny child. Her breakthrough was after Tara Reid made an appearance in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. The acting of her has been scrutinized yet she's able to do the roles she played effortlessly. For instance, in The Big Lebowski, Bunny became her breakthrough role. This was an excellent start to her career, and led to bigger roles in films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. But it wasn't American Pie the cult movie that focused on sexual encounters between teenagers that established Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress on the horizon in Hollywood in her part as the virgin Vicky. It was not an enviable Hollywood life. Reid was a victim of a number of mistakes in films like Josie and the Pussycats. She did get part on the set of American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this was not enough to help her slumping career. Reid has more fame as a fashion-conscious designer as well as a party-goer than she is an actress. This stems from her mistakes on screen, the media's attention to plastic surgery and a myriad of other blink-and miss performances.
