Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actress Savitri in her role in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actress in the early 2000s and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her debut lead part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. It was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare much, but it was released. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she could not choose but to withdraw from films on which she was already working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In a short time, she worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. It was delayed in 2015, and there are reports that the film will release after September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. The film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja with the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She appeared in Tamil movie Paambhu Satai and Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
