Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She is a regular in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the role of actress Savitri. Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her, as was the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her acting career at the beginning of 2000. She had her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. Although the movie did poorly in the theaters, her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played with Vikramprabhu. In order to fit in bigger projects, she had to pull out of films she had already begun working on. These include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. She consequently was involved in two projects with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the leading part for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been delayed from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September, 2020 with the name of Janakitho Nenu. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016 with actress Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She appeared in Tamil film Paambhu satai and Telugu movie Nenu Local both in 2017.
